It is important that you set up a great email marketing plan. I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, “The money is in the list!” That’s quite true, and today I’d like to go over the AWeber Email Program! What is AWeber about? Let’s get into it! I’m going to explain to you why it is the best email marketing service out there, and how to use it to catapult your business to the next level!

Why email marketing?
I think we all know we need to market to our list. People just don’t always buy the first time they are introduced to something. Most of the time, they need to see it a few times, absorb the information, do some comparison shopping, mull it over, and then they’ll get started.
You want to keep in front of your buyers. You want to make sure that when they are ready to buy, it’s you they buy from. Therefore, your list is key. You want to provide relevant, timely, interesting information to them on a regular basis, reminding them of your product or service and how it will grow their business or help them in some way.
I used this as a heading for this paragraph not to insult you, but to let you know that you don’t have to be a computer hack to use the AWeber Email program. It’s super easy to use with an entire library of instructional modules to walk you through anything you want to do.
I love the ease in which I was able to set up my first sign-up form. Look over on the right side of this website here and you’ll see my AWeber opt-in form where I am offering you a free EBook on setting up a website. I designed the entire sign-up form so quickly. Let me show you how here!
So, first, I clicked on “SIGN-UP FORMS” on the top. Self-explanatory, right?
Next, I click on “CREATE A SIGN UP FORM” obviously.
Next, you have the option to pick your sign-up form. On many of them you can change the colors, change the picture, etc. to customize it to exactly how you want it to look. It’s a lot of fun, and there are a ton of them to choose from.
Customize the form to your liking. On mine, I changed the headline text and added some footer text. Then you just click on go to Step 2
Now you want to set up your landing page. This is the page you will send your subscriber to when they complete your form. I’m probably going to tweak my landing page, but for speed, I set up this one quick:

I’m not going to get technical with you because there is plenty of training inside the platform to explain all the steps of setting up a campaign step-by-step. However, I will let you know that you will have a lot of flexibility to set up your “campaigns.”
A campaign is a series of events. Let me give you an example of one.

- You set up a sign-up form on your website.
- You offer a free ebook.
- When someone signs up, you send them an email with a copy of the ebook inside.
- You then set up a wait for one day.
- You send another email asking them if they want to buy your product or service.
- If they click on your link, you send them a thank you email and offer another product that might accompany the one they purchased. You add a tag to their contact to sort them by later.
- If they do not click the link by the next day, you send a follow-up email again promoting your product.
- And on it goes however you set it up.
As I mentioned, AWeber really gives you a lot of detail when it comes to training and helping you set up your campaigns. You can create beautiful, unique emails, sign-up forms, etc. Here’s an example of some of the training on the platform:
There is a paid training course you can also buy if you find you want to take it to the next level. At this point, being that I felt I had enough to learn first with the regular training, I did not take advantage of the offer, but I may do so in the future.
Why I chose AWeber
I had been contemplating which email marketing plan to use for the past several months. I had been using Infusionsoft, but the cost of that program (as totally awesome as it is indeed) was just becoming prohibitive to me. It’s not that I couldn’t afford it, it’s that I didn’t want to spend that kind of money on my email marketing any longer. As a Christian, I try to not spend my money frivolously, as I would rather spend it helping those in need, honestly.
Anyway, I signed up for Clickbank University recently, and as I started their training, one of the first modules recommended AWeber email marketing. Go ahead and get started today. Like I said, the money is in the list. You need to have a sign-up form on your website and a way to reach out to people who opt into your list. Don’t leave that money on the table. It’s not expensive to use this platform, especially for all you get from it.
